Missing Santa Claus
on December 27, 2023

On the 24th day there was a scarecrow or something like that (the same figure that was under 15th day) instead of a Santa Claus! Child was a little bit disappointed.

Oh no! We're sorry about that and happy to take care of it for you. Get in touch at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can get Santa on his way!
After many years of purchasing and participating in the Lego City Advent, this year was the worst! A few years ago, I purchased a retired Friends advent for my two BOYS because each day/build was an ornament. It would be so nice to experience the advent with dual use. They really had no playability with the 2022 version. Hoping to see a spiced up version for 2023!
Unlike other reviews all my days were correctly packed. It was fun to unpack the days and build an overall scene. I prefer non-branded sets like this one which won’t become irrelevant over the years.
Mostly we were satisfied with this advent calendar, compared to the avengers one from last year which we had no idea what half of the stuff was. However, we were really disappointed that Santa’s sleigh was missing from any of the doors. Thankfully Santa was in one, but the missing sleigh was sad for the kiddo.
We spend thousands of dollars on LEGO each year, so this kit, to celebrate my son's hobby and build up to the unveiling of our big Christmas purchases is a little bit of. a letdown. It started early in the month when instead of Billy, we received a duplicate rocking horse/rocket.
While it's helpful that the instructions are available online, it's frustrating how many of the items were mispackaged in the wrong part of the tray. We haven't finished opening, so I'm not sure what other mistakes that we'll find.
The builds themselves vary in degrees of novelty. Some of them (the chicken laying an egg) are quite sparse and abstract. If LEGO is trying to make more money by including less product, they must be doing a great job.

Small builds for big price. Worst part is two of the day so far have been duplicate pieces. So we are missing part of Santa’s vehicle plus another character. So disappointed. Get the right pieces in the box Lego. Especially when you’re charging this much.
Disappointed that days 12 and 21 had the same build - a snowman with skates. He’s young and liked opening the doors but wasn’t excited about most of the builds. Some cute little builds but for the money I can buy a larger set with more play value.

We never want our fans to be disappointed. Please give us a call or chat at LEGO.build/Service-BV and we'll be happy to send the mini build he needs to complete the calendar!
I bought the advent calendar for my 2 youngest (age 10and 12) but also have 23 year old, so have been buying this product every year for years....and we are officially done. The advent calendar used to be fun to open every day. Daily surprises were Christmasy and good quality (bigger, fun to built). This now is an absolute junk. Waste of money. We saved our older ones....we can care less about the new ones. There is no excitement about them from any of us...kids and adults...plain boring...half the time we don't even know what it is.....So we have decided we will not waste our money anymore....we will forever keep the old versions. Goodbye lego advent calendar of any kind.
