A joy to build

I have been a little skittish when it comes to the friends line of Lego, but the last year or so, this line has really grabbed my attention! When I first saw the pictures for this set I knew that I wanted it for my mini city. The whole process of building this set was a joy and the design is fantastic. It is like a modular building set from the creator line and is so playful and fun. If you have any interest in this set, GET IT! Thank you Lego and the designers that made this great set! I know I am not the target demographic for this set but good design is good design! :)

Looks very extravagant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Andrea's theater school came with 4 mini figures. The set included lots of different costumes and props. Two interchangeable backdrops and curtains were also included. There is lots of details on the building itself, such as gold pieces.The theater school opens up and is dual sided. The back side serves as the school and rehearsal area, while the front it the actual theater. The theater has posters for the plays on the front, and it also has a little ticketing office. The set was very fun to build and instructions were quite simple to follow. Since the set has many props children can put on various different plays. I definitely think this set is great for encouraging imagination. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something to give their children.

Irresistible endless play opportunities

I was a little hesitant to buy this set at first because I thought the amount of play my daughter would get out of it would be limited since it is specifically a theater. Wow, was I wrong. I am so glad I bought it for her. According to her, it is the best lego set she's ever played with. She wasn't even finished building it all when she was already playing with it and planning out what plays she was going to do, including many from scenes in books she's currently reading. The accessories and outfits are awesome. She already has plans to somehow attach a flying fairy for one of the plays she's got planned, and it's so fun hearing how she plans to make that happen. There is no limit to what a child with a good imagination and a decent grasp of lego building can do with this set. Even my husband ranks this set in his top two favorites of all time. I agree. Not only is my daughter getting a lot of play out of it, but it is also just beautiful to look at. It looks even better in person than it does online or on the box. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set! Thank you Lego Friends designers, you knocked it out of the park with this set.

Wonderful Muppet stage

This was my first purchase in the Friends series, and I couldn't be happier with it. Very fun to build and I love the way it folds up. The fact that it's the perfect display stage for my Muppet minifigs is a wonderful bonus. Great job, Lego!

Amazing set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is really really cool. My daughter is 10 and did the whole set independently. It took her about 4 days on and off working on it. There are so many moving parts to this set and such adorable details. Everywhere you look there is another small room, or stage piece or prop. It is really jam packed with so much to see and play with. We love legos and we’re really impressed with this set. It’s hard to choose what is more fun, building it or playing with it once it is assembled. The set comes with very clear and detailed instructions. And as usual a few extra pieces just incase. This is an awesome set for the Lego lover in your life.

Clever concept with room for creativity

Not only does this product look beautiful when finished, but it is also extremely well-designed. You can close it securely with a built-in latch for convenient travel from one room to another. The whole family had fun making additional backgrounds with spare Lego pieces, including using pieces from Lego dots sets. We also brought in some of the Lego Disney characters for added on-stage drama!

Lot's of play potential

A lot of LEGO sets are nice to display, but this is probably the best set I have seen for actual play. As you can see in the photos other reviewers have posted it is great medium for scenes with your favorite minifigures. You can display it, but the display can be changed endlessly. I have great plans for this set and my Harry Potter figures, my Muppet figures, my Disney figures and all the fun figures I have bought or made myself! Oh the possibilities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! That’s going to be the first response. This is a fantastic Lego set. There is just so much to love here! Multiple figures (wich is always a bonus) but there was really impressive details in the design itself. From the intricate outside of the theatre (when closed) to the stage and viewing boxes on the sides. It came complete with stage lighting on the top and a trap door! My daughter absolutely loved the set. What put it over the top for me was the fact that you can change the backdrops! Three seperate ones to chose from! Amazing set, Lego absolutely hit it out of the park with this one and I love that unlike when it was a child there are some amazing sets that trend toward some things that young ladies are into as well. Great set you definitely won’t be disappointed!!
