Disappointing quality control

My daughter received the same girl/mom on day 1 and 7. She received another girl on day 7 instead of the Hot Dog stand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Missing pieces

My daughter was bummed when one day was supposed to be a reindeer and it was something else. The picture inside the day was of a reindeer but what was inside the bag for that day was something else. Of course we told her that maybe the next day it would be the reindeer instead and that lego must have messed up and switched them up. But much to our disappointment and surprise, the very next day, she got a repeat of the day before and still no reindeer. Apparently another product of no quality control and lazyness...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great lego set, bad packaging

We really had lots of fun opening a new box every day. My 6 year old was quickly up and dressed to have those few minutes before the prescool to play with the new toy together with the ones from previous days. We only had some of troubles with the box they are in. First we opened the wrong end and all the toys almost fell out. I had a tricky situation putting it all back (there are no “open here” markings, just 4 identical sticky tapes. And you need to cut just the right 2 of them).
The other problem with the box is that it is so thin that it wobbles as she opens the doors and takes the new toys out (we have had some toys fall down to the lower box and we have been quite careful here), she also likes to put them back in and take out again and that is also risky as they easilly slide down to the lower levels.
All in all a great lego set, but the box is just too thin. Lets figure a better way to save the world rather than packaging of something that needs to last 24 days of daily play!

Instructions ARE inside the doors

I buy a LOT of Legos. Used to pretend they were for my kids. 😁 My only disappointment with this advent is the cardboard parts used to have fold out sections and be more 3 dimensional. For those reviewers saying there aren’t instructions; there is an easy to read instruction inside the door of each day. For those who noted that the instructions don’t match the pieces, just slide the tray out and turn the pieces so they line up with the correct instructions. I caught that the first day. Don’t just complain, fix it. 😁

Disappointed but fun

So disappointed that there are no instructions, like every other set, I am building off pictures I found on the website. Daughter loves it and can make believe anything to play with the items, but it is a missed opportunity to teach kids how to build Lego.
I would recommend this to a friend!

That doesn't sound right! There should be pictures of each mini build on the inside of the doors and no step by step instructions are needed. If not, please get in touch with us at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can take a closer look.

Fun but could be more inclusive

We love the idea of these calendars and we have alot of fun building these. However for anyone with less than perfect eyes site, its nearly impossible.
Could u include a qr code to get a larger picture on your smart device?

I was so disappointed. This was my first advent calendar. After a few days I lost interest. The builds were so so. There was no fun in it

Instructions don’t match bag

The daily instructions don’t match the bag in the box. Very, very frustrating and disappointing for my daughter. Where is the quality control!!

Oh no! That isn’t the experience we want for our LEGO fans. It may be the inner tray is ‘flipped’. If you open the end of the box, slide out the tray that will usually fix the issue! (You can retape the box and not tell.) We hope this helps - and if not, please reach out LEGO.build/Service-BV.
