Loved building this!!!! It’s nice and somewhat colorful. While the builds are the same for most of the building, it was still fun!!!!! Went well and took me prob 4 hours to build. Make sure if you are transporting upstairs to hold from the bottom and steady!!! Took me a minute to get upstairs and all together!!!

Great Deathly Hallows Ministry of Magic set!

This was a really great Deathly Hallows set. I love that Lego made their first Ministry of Magic set, especially because it was Deathly Hallows themed. It is really awesome that a set based on the Deathly Hallows book and movies has finally come out, and I hope we get even more. It was fantastic that there were so many iconic Deathly Hallows minifigures, especially since the majority were exclusive and new. One of the best things about this set is that it is built so that the offices have the iconic Ministry of Magic structure on the outside, while on the inside all the major Ministry of Magic scenes are depicted. It is also very neat that the set can be taken apart into separate segments and put back together in different ways. In addition, I loved that the set's design is such that you can buy a second set and add it to the first to expand it. Overall, this set is definitely worth its price.

Best Harry Potter set of this wave!

This set looks absolutely phenomenal and it does a good job representing the giant ministry of magic from the films in a relatively inexpensive way to how big this set could have potentially been, the minifigures are all exclusive and I love the golden trio, I only wish umbrage had dual molded legs but that is my only wish for this set. I will definitely buy a double to expand it however.

Fun but limited

Cute set but very limited. The minifigs don't really fit in the chairs limiting play. There's 80 red rods that connect into 16 longer ones - these couldn't been combined into a longer existing piece. Not sure why they include black half circle plates AND black quarter circle plates. Overall it feels like piece count padding to justify the ever rising prices. I don't mind paying for quality but this missed the mark. Also doesn't work as a display piece unless you have a 360 display area. Both front and back and underwhelming when viewed separately. Finally, I had to look up what the interdepartmental memos were. They're white and abstract in the set. They're purple in the films. A little more effort would've made it clear what they are.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sure it could have been thought out more, but what a treat. Lego claimed they were scared to make Deathly Hollow sets but they finally made one. Obviously an intern made it but they did it! Also it’s not as hollow as a Jurassic park build. That’s where they need to do their research. Thanks lego for at least trying!
