Within a week, a bulge developed next to the touchpad. Took it to a local repair place and he found one of the screws for the battery housing had come out. Fortunately no damage was done but it shows lack of quality control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this laptop 30% off, and at that price it's a great computer. It would be good at full price, but for that price I would expect a touchscreen, perhaps a slightly brighter screen, and a backlit keyboard. Other than that, I'm very happy with this computer. It has a nice screen, the keyboard has a light touch, and the computer is fast.

Bought the computer in early November 2021. Overall, very pleased with it. Extremely fast boot time! Screen is nice with anti-reflection coating. Only drawback is using the touchpad when you have the laptop on your lap. The front edge of the base of the computer is sharp so it digs a little into your hands.
