For the price of this Laptop I expected at least some standard features, like when you press the power button it lights up to confirm power is on. When I first turned it on I pressed the button but nothing, no light and it did not seem to be on so I pressed it again then again until it finally did turn on. Because there is no light in the Power Button it was difficult to know that it was on. Never thought to look at the side panel to see the light on.
Very disappointed that they have removed the upgrade option of a HDD, no connection for it and they have ribs on the bottom cover, for support I guess, that you would have to cut away to instal another drive.
Big issue is that there is no Service or User Manuals for this Laptop. The ones they direct you to are not for this Laptop, they do not have the Specs that are this Laptop. I get the Generic Manuals but if they do not cover the Specs of this Laptop then what good are they. My Laptop came with a 1TB SSD but the manuals only refer as high as an 512GB SSD. As well the Manuals refer to a 17 inch screen when this is a 15 inch screen.
Contacted HP Support for help with the correct Manuals but they could not help me, they kept directing me to Manauls that where Generic but not of my Specific Laptop, it was frustrating.
Though it is a nice Laptop I was disappointed that for it's price it lacks expected features.
Really quick computer for the price it comes with a lot of specs that are price higher elsewhere. The shipping date was also right on and fast. I would recommend it anytime for any casual user.
