Mine just died - my fault!

I've had this product for a little over a year and used it DAILY. Don't think I've gone to sleep without it on.
I washed it out (which I've done monthly) and stupidly plugged it in without letting it dry out. The plug made a spark, and now it won't turn on. :-(
I'll get another one when I can afford it. For my bedroom, this has been perfect for over a year, and only died from user stupidity.

So far we are enjoying the humidifier. I like the top fill. Although I noticed when placed on a step stool near the floor on the highest setting the carpet becomes noticeably wet.

Nice humidifier--love the top fill design

I am a frequent user of humidifiers, and have been for several years now. I also currently own the Pure Cloud Humidifier, and it has been my sole source of humidification in my home for the past year, but since I moved, I figured it was time to grab another humidifier since I am now in a larger space, and winter can be very drying for me. Previous to using my new humidifier, my hands and hair were noticeably dry, and I tended to have a dry cough due to how starkly dry the air in my home is. Since using the humidifier, it has significantly reduced these symptoms, and I can only assume that it's because it's doing the job it's supposed to.
I purchased the humidifier in black, and because of the color, the mineral/white dust buildup that happens with humidifiers is much more noticeable, so I have to wipe it down at least once a day (which I never noticed having to do with my other white humidifier). That is probably my biggest complaint. The top-fill design is very convenient. I notice that, near the mist spout, water tends to collect in large droplets--and this initially made me worry about leakage, but it's not a huge concern since the design of the top-fill lid seems to allow the water to fall back into the device. I like that there are multiple settings for how strong of humidity you can choose. I like the choice to turn the light on or off, and the timer function is also helpful. I do wish I could adjust the direction of the mist spout (like with the Cloud humidifier).
Overall, the humidification of this product is great, with some minor design preferences that I would change if I could (i.e. having to wipe down the machine due to dust visibility, and fixed spout direction).

Quiet and works well! We bought this for our bedroom to alleviate the effects of having radiator heating (dry eyes, nasal passages, skin). It’s nice that there are three settings and the timer. As well as it shuts off on its own for once the water is depleted from the basin, indicating it’s time to add more.

This humidifier is the best! It is so easy to fill because the opening is very large. The water tank is so big I can turn the mist on the highest setting and it lasts all day or all night - and then some. Easy to clean. And quiet. I like that i can have the nightlight on or off.

I purchased two of your HUME max top fill humidifiers. One for my my one year olds room after several failed cheaper humidifiers and also one for my husband and I. We love how easy both are to clean and fill in the evening before bed. We set the timer on both each night.
