Love this humidifier--does the job!

Hello,
Just wanted to let you know that my husband and I are very pleased with the Mistaire Eva 4-speed evaporative humidifier we purchased from you. Set up was very easy. We could tell within 12 hours that our bedroom’s air was more breathable. My husband is a mouth breather when he sleeps and normally wakes up to drink water at least once during the night. He hasn’t had to do that since we started running the Mistaire.
We much prefer this Mistaire humidifier because it does not require as much cleaning. We had an ultrasonic humidifier, but it needed to be cleaned almost daily. We just had to give up on it.
We like this humidifier so much we are giving one to our son. We are certain he will like it as much as we do.

A good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for this type of product and when I noticed when I got this product have multiple settings where you can use to set the product the way you want it. Also I like that it doesn't leave any residue after you put the material in it. Because my room is so stuffy at night I like how it helps me breath at night. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a product like this

Works well, quiet, needs regular attention

Seems like it worked pretty well, usually kept it on low to keep the air from getting overly moist, but it probably could have gone up a notch or 2 and been fine. It was plenty quiet, at least for me, so that's also nice. According to the site it should work fine without Bacteriostatic Treatment liquid, but I didn't know that before I got it (purchased on another site), so I used some (with a pump, and just counted pumps for the measurement) and it was fine. Might be a good idea either way, but I definitely recommend getting a humidistat (if you don't already have one) so you can tell how it's doing or if it needs to be boosted up a bit (outside conditions do change, and that affects the inside air).
Biggest complaint would be refilling, not very convenient having to take the top off every time..(usually daily); would be nice to just have a pour spout in the side or something, preferably with some kind of funnel for ease of use.
Also not really a huge fan of the light, it's nice that you can turn it off, just kind of a pain it has do be done every time it turns off (usually on refill).

Great humidifier

We had some problems with it but customer service has been great. The humidifier, when working properly provides mist-less moisture to a room. I like the filter too and as long as you keep your unit clean you only have to replace the filter every 6 months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Been using this for 2 weeks and so far it's great

PROS: Very quiet. Ability to turn off lights, which is a plus for when in a bedroom. Unit powered on and seems to be working despite its rough trip here.
Packing could’ve been better. It arrived with packing only at one end and without sufficient tape. The unit itself had no packing in its box.
On page 6 of the instructions in the BEFORE USING section #9 states “Reattach the top housing of the unit and securely latch into place.”
However, I can’t find a latch and it doesn’t snap in place or latch itself when put on top. The top housing just sits on the bottom tank.
