This is an awesome air filter. The removable pre-filter is easy to remove and wash in the sink. I dry it between paper towels The rest of the filter uses activated charcoal which has been known for many years to have the capacity to soak up stuff in the air and even from and in water. Some fish tanks have activated charcoal filtration. The PureZone filter is easy to access and simple to remove and replace. Even though the pre-filter is easy to get to and is easy to clean, I recommend having one or two spare replacement filters on hand.
