Don’t recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I’ve got it it’s had connection issues and won’t connect until I factory reset. Mind you I have new lg tv and new lg speakers. I’ve even reached out to lg and they always just disconnect me and don’t want to help. Don’t recommend this product and decided to just connect directly to hdmi. I have had it for 2 months and can’t return it. Lg doesn’t seem to want to help either as I have tried to get help and they disconnect me multiple times.

Don’t Waste Your Money!

This WowCast module does not stay wirelessly connected to the SC9S soundbar while attempting to use it with the LG C3 TV. The white light just keeps on blinking. It’s much better to connect your soundbar with an HDMI cable connected to the HDMI/ARC ports on the TV and soundbar. You can not connect your cable box to the soundbar no matter what mode your C3 TV is set to, and the WowCast didn’t help because it can not be connected to the soundbar. LG has spent hours on the phone along with days of instruction via text and this WowCast is an abysmal failure. Save your money and nothing, but headaches!

Awesome wireless device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG WOWCAST works as described and produces quality wireless audio between soundbar system and TV. I recently purchased the 65 OLED G2 TV and paired it with the S95QR Soundbar system. I wanted to minimize cables so I purchased the WOWCAST. The device mounts flush behinds the tv and does not get in the way with wall flush designed TV's (galleria editions, frames). I'm am very satisfied with the transfer of audio quality and I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I had not realized how easy the WTP3 would make connecting my LG Sound Bar to my television setup.
Simply plug the HDMI cable into right port on your TV, give it some power by connecting it to a free USB port and your TV is now connected to the Sound Bar. No need for re-wiring or adjusting any other existing cables. (Perfect for anyone with on-wall mounted systems or cabling.)
The product just works, is invisible (since it simply attaches to the rear of your TV with the included mounting tape) and so simple to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG's WTP3 WOWCAST was just what I needed to wirelessly connect my TV to my LG S90QY Sound Bar. It features 7.1.4 transmission and Dolby Atmos. If your TV offers an HDMI ARC or eARC, this dongle is a great option.
The WTP3 is all set to go the minute you plug it into your TV. It's the easiest part of setting up a new sound system. No wires/cables needed. I've found the audio from my sound bar to be phenomenal using the WOWCAST.
I've found no issues with the Wi-Fi connectivity. The clear sound coming out of the sound bar is welcome. The compact size of the WTP3 is helpful. It makes for a cleaner home theater. It is plug and play, even for folks who arent electronically proficient. All in all, LG made a must have dongle in the WOWCAST. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [LG WOWCAST] So here is a way to wirelessly connect the TV to your LG sound bar without the loose of Dolby Atmos functionality. I was worried I would lose somthing when I ditched the wires, but my experience with full Dolby Atmos was still great. I did not notice any additional distortion or sound issues. So it says that it can "Stream up to 12 channels of uncompressed sound", I am unsure of how to verify that, but it does sound great!
WTP3 WOWCAST (ok crazy name) allows for a no cable connection from the sound bar to the TV (cool).
