I do love these, but could be better

The Glide Lively is the 9th Govee light in my home so needless to say I am a big fan.
Two issues with the Glide:
1. The joints where the sections snap together are very noticeable. A more minimal/flush connection would be a lot better. It's just an aesthetic issue, but it's very noticeable. Compared to the Lyra for example, the Glide is cheap looking.

2. No (easy) way to increase the distance between both light towers - they are a fixed distance apart. Luckily it *just* fits where I need it. Basically the max distance between the bars is like 8 feet (or whatever the cord is, measurements on the product description). Which would be fine, except that it uses some proprietary connector to connect the lights to the adapter. Since it's not a standard cable, you can't get an extension or use a replacement - like you could with the DC adapter, which is just a generic part you can get a replacement for), you could change the distance however you wanted. As is, you would have to use several adapters and cables to get the distance further, and who knows if that would even work.
This is one area Govee could be better at: compatibility with standardized components. For example, make the light itself have a DC plug on the end of it's cord, so you can plug it into any DC adapter.
Still nice, just could be better. Not unhappy at all with it though.

Govee Garage !!!

So I pretty much built a Govee/Arcade1up mancave in my garage. For Govee products, I have the rope light, and tv immersion kit, and these glide wall lights. Of those 3, the glide wall lights are my favorite product. I will say though that if you don't have a good use for it or a plan for it, then it may look dumb just having it on your wall. It needs a purpose. I've seen some people use it to outline a door, others place it above or behind a tv or computer, but I bought these specifically to highlight my Joker Dark Knight artwork as the glide wall lights perfectly box it in. The Lights are stunning and the different options give me Limitless options with the type of lighting or vibe that I want. I have it synced up to my Alexa so that when I say "Alexa, activate man cave", all of my govee lights turn on, as well as my 2 arcade1up cabinets. The fact that this is a wifi enabled product allows Govee to add more color options and also patch any bugs via updates. If you love LEDs or looking for something to make your room pop, look no further. The Govee Glide Wall Light is an absolute game changer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even better than it looks

I was very excited for this product to release. I had seen several reviews covering the Glide Wall Light and it looked like an extremely affordable and high quality alternative to similar products on the market that are usually much too expensive. I have experience using Govee products prior to this. Using the Govee app helped me integrate the Glide very easily with my other Govee products. This products has a ton of customization options. One thing that caught me by surprise was that it was bigger than I imagined, which is a good thing. This product makes my game room look amazing and unique. I very easily recommend it.

I absolutely love my Glide Lively Wall Lights!! They make my room look awesome! I have 2 sets in my living room on each space inbetween the windows. It looks phenomenal!!
