Bought Nov 2022 and yeah they were really cool. one set is constantly flashing now (Mar 2025) so I don't feel they're worth the money.

Colors poorly re-created

I have 8 different Govee products, bulbs, lamps, TV lights, rope lights, etc. All have similar color quality except these. White is OK, blue is mid, red is orange, orange is yellow, yellow is puke radioactive greenish, etc. Both sides are the same. Unless you desperately need a pair of 4 ft long, straight lights, try another Govee product, like rope lights.

This product does not dim when linked with ICUE

This product does not dim when linked with ICUE, It will be full brightness when you run them, so if they are on the wall in front of you it is blinding because of how bright they are. Also I cannot find an extension so 8 feet is the max distance you can place these.

Great product for wall lighting!

I got these when first released the site on the wall above the master bedroon bed. Great lighting. the only draw back is after 2 years with yellow or white there is hissing noise from the controller. if we changed to red, blue, green, orange for example the hissing stops. We found that we had 2 segments not lighting up and it was after an earthquake, and the connection for 2 segments was loose. I used the velcrow and it has held in place! Still enjoy the product and its intergrated into home automation as well.

The example picture with the mountain design and designs that you need multiple “connectors” for should be taken down. I bought this to make a mountain design like an M shown in the image, but come to find out it only has ONE connector so you can only make one L shape, not an M or W shape. Those photos are misleading and need to be taken down as “possible designs” with this item. It is simply just an L with only one connector for one turn.
You should also show the wire hanging on the wall as it is not wireless.
