I was a bit hesitant at first to get a VA panles because of ghosting, but I'm happy to say that I have no issues playing Cod MW2/Black ops Cold war and Halo infinite G sync does work but display port must be used it will not work with HDMI, the extreme curve with the 1000r model looks weird at first in Windows but when gaming is great and once you get used to it there's no going back.... 5 stars all the way

I was perplexed why this 165Hz $400 monitor is just looking weird and choppy with my RTX 4060 playing an undemanding game (Satisfactory). What was perplexing is when I turn of this monitor and play from my 144hz laptop screen the game was perfect.
Bottom Line: Free Sync is not G Sync. Best Buy needs to update their description. Nothing against MSI, this is a beautiful monitor but FreeSync does not work well with Nvidia. That is why I bought a G-sync.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is not g-sync. It's free-sync premium. Best Buy is advertising the Optix G271CQR as g-sync, but MSI is not. My rtx 3060ti does work well with it, but I bought it because it was listed as a g-sync monitor. A little disappointed honestly. Thanks Best Buy.

It however is Freesync premium, not a Gsync monitor.

When it comes to 1440p 144fps gaming, this is a perfect monitor. Runs smooth, can change the RGB in the back of the monitor , absolutely amazing. However ,,, lol , this monitor is massive and will take up a lot of desk space. 9/10 , would recommend

I am very happy with the overal quality of this monitor, great for 1440P gaming, would've been a five star review if Best buy wouldnt have listed this as a g-sync monitor because its freesync and I don't have an AMD card. Shame to be missing out on that feature because of wrongfull advertisement.

This is a great upgrade from my 1080p display for anyone reading this with an Nvidia card display port has to be used to enable Gsync as well to unlock the full 165hz
Colors look great out of the box and the curve is great for gaming 👍

Good monitor. G sync DOES work

This is a very nice monitor. Seeing the reviews before buying it I saw a lot of mixed reviews about the g sync not working so I was a little worried if it was actually g sync or not. But it was a great deal for labor day sale so I gave it a shot for myself. The g sync DOES infact work. For the 1st day I couldn’t figure out why it would wasn’t showing in my nvidia control panel but you have to use the BUTTONS on your MONITOR to navigate through a menu and turn on “free sync premium” and then g sync will show up in nvidia control panel :)
Anyway, very good graphics, love the 1440p. Not much else to say :)
