Great vac

I live in an apartment with carpet and tile flooring. This vacuum cleans both extremely well. For an apartment sized area, the length of the power cable and the canister capacity are sufficient, however; for a house I would find them lacking.
The only issue is durability. The use of thin, weak plastic where the handle attaches to the pipe causes the the plastic housing to break. After 6 months of using the vacuum 4 times a month, so roughly 24 uses, the housing broke. I replaced the housing and it broke again after the same amount of usage. I like the vacuum but replacing parts every 6 months is frustrating especially considering the price of the vacuum.
