My husband travels every week and I was buying new luggage every 4 months. I started buying swiss and they absolutely hold up. I would give the new 5 stars but they changed the zipper my old ones were metal. His old swiss is 3 years old.

I chose this particular bag for a two-week trip that included train journeys as well as flights because I had read that several airlines could occasionally be sticklers about the not-to-exceed 14x9x22 dimensions and so many bags that came up on an exhaustive online search for bags of that size were actually a half-inch larger here, an inch larger there, etc. when you included the wheels and handle. This bag's TOTAL dimensions were that elusive 14x9x22 size. So, being a bit paranoid about having to check my bag when I didn't want to, I selected this one. It looks nice, rolled well on cobblestone streets, and has a few slim pockets for travel guides or laptops. However, it is a little impoverished for compartments, compared to another bag I have of the same size, which has three different-sized zip pockets built into the front of the bag, making organizing much easier. I resorted to packing cubes (which I don't really love) to compensate. And after all that, we ended up checking our carry-ons after all, so I could have gone a bit bigger. All that said, I was happy with the performance of the bag as well as its perfect size, and it is attractive. So a solid 4, or maybe 4.5, out of 5 stars.

This bag is a perfect size for carry-on yet still roomy to pack 3-5 days worth clothing etc. for traveling. I also liked this bag made of nice synthetic fabric in grey color--very stylish looking! This bag will be also great for weekend-getaway traveling! Higley recommended!
