Buzz Lightyear's 2022 utility belt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the utility belt has a different look but still recognizable for character. Being wearable not just as a costume but to take anywhere for on-the-go play time which is ideal + my son has gotten compliments when wearing.

Wish it did more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To put the belt on your child it has notches on one side and the other side pushes through holding it in place (see photo) with no belt holder so if your child is small it flaps around. Not a deal breaker but if they just added a strap to hold the belt in place it would be nicer. The best part of this toy is the power crystal. My kid loved it. He used his imagination and used it for multiple purposes. The belt comes with a little side pocket that the crystal can fit in but it is a tight squeeze. With the power crystal in place the front of the belt opens to a secret compartment but it lacks things to do. It just has a switch that flips back and forth loudly. Overall not too impressed with the features but my son loved this toy so it's a win for a 4 year old.

Lightyear Utility belt fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one and I enjoyed playing with the light year utility belt. He loved the idea that the jewel was used to open the belt. The only con was, if he would forget to put the jewel in its designated pocket, it would fall out and he would lose it for a while. I also wish the other living pieces produced sone sort of outcome. I can’t wait until he can wear it while watching the upcoming Lightyear movie to add an exciting context to the belt.

Play and use your own imagination

The belt extends around my 3 and 5 year old and helps gives a snug fit and actually stays on their tiny waists. It comes a pouch, walkie-talkie, and a crystal fuel that you insert to open the belt buckle. It’s a fun addition to her buzz light year costume. She’s excited to wear this when we watch the new buzz movie.

Pretend play and no batteries needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Buzz Lightyear utility belt is pretty basic. It has an adjustable waist to fit kids of all sizes. It has a pouch to hold the crystal, but it can be a tricky for little hands to get it back out. The crystal pushes into a slot that opens a compartment. If you would happen to misplace the crystal a pencil would work just fine to push the trigger to open it. There are toggle switches that click, but no electronic sound effects. We haven't seen the movie, so we aren't exactly sure what each of the pieces were supposed to be. My child use the detachable piece as a walkie talkie and pretend flashlight. She pretended that the compartment was like a compass that beeped as she got closer to the treasure. She also keeps pieces of paper (notes and drawings) into the compartment. It won't fit much else. Overall it's a good quality toy for pretend play for both boys and girls. It doesn't have any annoying sounds or require batteries if either of those is important to you.

Lightyear Mission gear utility belt is a must buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your child loves Buzz lightyear, or space as much as mine, this is a must buy! This utility belt is so cute and the parts it comes with are so fun. My son loves the secret compartment that you find when you put the fuel cell in the right spot. My son also loves using the little communicator it comes with and makes him feel so cool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great belt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old son loved this lightyear utility belt. The belt had different areas for storing small items. He was a little disappointed that it did not make any sounds or have lights, but after he discovered the crystal opened a secret compartment he was sold. It even has a pretend walkie talkie. Great for imaginative play. The belt is adjustable and easy to put on. I was provided this toy in exchange for my honest opinion.
