Remote battery dead in 2 months

The battery is dead in 2 months. It cannot be charged at all now. I have to always connect it to a USB-C charger, which is so silly. TBO I don't really like this "smart monitor" concept. Believe me that you don't need a remote for a computer monitor. Go get a monitor as monitor, or a TV as TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

USB c selection makes connecting work laptop a breeze. Built in streaming service makes taking a break and watching a quick a show enjoyable.
