Screen stopped powering on and the repair is equal to the price of a new one. Warranty doesnt cover anything. Absolutely horrible.

Great smart monitor for the price!

I have had this monitor for almost a year, I really love it 95% of the time. My biggest complaint is the brightness, or lack thereof. I have the monitor in front of a west facing window, and when the sunlight hits that window around sunset it drowns out the monitor completely. Even when it's as bright as it goes. Especially if the game, movie, or show uses darker lighting in most scenes. For example House of the Dragon was terrible to watch around sunset, which is when the new episode drops. I could barely, if at all, see what was going on.
The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because other than at sunset, it gives a crisp and clear picture. The sound could be slightly better, but honestly it's a monitor not a TV, so I won't fault it there. I think if they could fix the brightness issue it would be a 5 star monitor.

Great Monitor and Price Point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my monitor mostly for work as a second screen to my laptop and occasional streaming/gaming. Resolution and backlight is super crisp and it fits fell into the other TV uses in the home so it is versatile. I also find the refresh rate to be really good for all that is offered.

Nice monitor but flaky USB-C connection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this monitor for a few months now as part of a 3 monitor setup primarily for work currently connected to the USB-C port of an HP 800 MINI G4. When it works, the monitor is fine. Problem is that a few weeks in, the USB-C recognition became flaky, even when using the Samsung provided USB-C cable. Yes, as a workaround I can use the HDMI port but I would rather use the USB-C since it is sleeker and allows me to use the USB hub features. Perhaps there is something wrong with the build quality of my monitor. I don't know.
Another annoyance is that the remote is not limitable/addressable to a single monitor if you have multiples of the same monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is fantastic. I'm in my 60s, and the monitor screen is large, so it's pleasant, and it's so comfortable to enjoy Internet surfing and various media. Shopping without regret is the M7 43-inch monitor.

Great monitor for everyday use

It was a really good monitor until the backlight failed after around 2.5 years. The reliability is really bad. I purchased the new M70D version with an extended warranty and hopefully it will last longer. I have Samsung 4k and 8k tv's and they are great. Somehow this monitor didn't last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked Great… Until it Didn’t

I work from home and purchased this as a large second monitor to use with a MacBook. It worked great for 2 years & almost 3 months — and then suddenly went black mid-workday… never to be revived and no longer under warranty. Among greatest frustrations is that the monitor does not have a power indicator light to recognize any signs of life while troubleshooting. It was good while it lasted, but too short-lived and it seems others have experienced the same.
