Pretty good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd wired security system that I use. The first one was installed by a professional, so when setting up this system, it took me sometime to do so…what I like about it is that those cameras are very good quality, metal feel, and heavy. The system offers quite a few good features that my old one didn’t have, like two way communication, record audio, more importantly, the camera image quality, which is way better. (Some other features need more time to figure…) The app is pretty amazing. You can do everything through the app. I find the sirens kind of annoying (too loud) since the place where I live is quite peaceful and quiet, so I disabled it. Overall it’s a pretty good security system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful Resolution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this system to upgrade/replace a ten year old security system on my house. The old system was 750p and was decent for daytime surveillance but was almost worthless for nighttime viewing. Let’s face it, most of the reasons you need surveillance for occur at night and my neighborhood has had a lot of problems with car break-ins and other thefts at night. The old system was so dark and grainy, it was almost useless. I was amazed at the clarity and resolution of this new system. It makes nighttime views as good as daytime. I’m no professional, but found everything pretty easy to set up and get going on my own. If you’re looking for a superior security system, this is a good choice. Highly recommended.

Excellent security system from Swann

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best security systems in the market at the moment. The best part is I get to choose what kind of alerts I want. I certainly don't want an alert for cloud shadow over passing my house or a cat in front of the camera and me or my family member in and around the house. This is one of the best features I liked about this security system that it has a facial recognition option. The cameras are powered by an ethernet cable, so I do not have to worry about changing batteries at all. My security system 4 cameras 8 channels 12 MP Pro Enforcer NVR came with 4 60 feet-long ethernet cables which were long enough to wire them through the attic from each corner of my house. In my opinion, this is designed very thoughtfully. It's a one-time investment and no subscription is needed for storing the videos, it comes with 2TB of storage locally and best of all it can capture 4K videos.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have many cameras from Swann, this one is the worst, I would not recommend.

Nice system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very well made Security system. I really like that this set came with 4 cameras which easily covered my entire outside barrier. Setup was pretty simple once I figured out where to install it all. The Ethernet chords come with plenty of footage and I did not have to worry about it tugging on anything. Once everything was plugged in and set up, it was good to go! I really like the flood light when it picks up someone and I really like that it has the red and blue lights to scare off anyone that does not belong here. 2 TB hard drive lets me feel more comfortable that I have plenty of footage I can always go back to. Clarity of the feed is pretty clear but with a tad bit of buffer when I try and go live but it is not too bad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall, the cameras quality is pretty good during the day and night view as well. The only issue I would say is that when using the Swann app on an Android device, it's really difficult to see the live stream, and it delays from the live view. Also, the app stops and logs me out from the account, so I have to sign in again.

12MP so much clearer than 4K

I was surprised at the difference going from 4K to 12MP makes. I can now zoom in on entrance of my driveway and see my mailbox, which always was a bit pixelated. I'm planning to upgrade another 2 of my 4K cameras to 12MP now.

Easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very much enjoying our new camera and security system. It was very easy and quick to set up. What took the most time was running the wires. It is pretty good video quality but not the best I have seen. It has a lot of good options and settings and I would definitely recommend this system for anyone who wants to secure their house.
