Good Product Tough Setup on Mac

This product gives you an easier option to set up with a USB cable connected. However, that option does not appear on Macs, only on Windows installation. I had a very difficult time, because I could have made the wireless connections via the printer screen, but my router password configuration uses $ for any S in a password. My network router password has $ as the first character (and maybe more). You can access characters from the 1 key on the touchpad, but $ is not an available character! Come on Epson! After two calls with the Epson Hotline, I finally, used a Windows laptop (work) to setup the network connection for the printer because the wireless with USB cable temporarily connected option was available there on the installation disk. Then I went back and added and selected the printer on my Macs. The helpline suggested changing my router password. I wasn't up for that with 15 devices from phones, pads, wii, etc. connected. This solution finally worked. 3 hours later... The support line was generally helpful once I got to the level 2 person. Other than that, nice printer. Zzzzz

So far so good. This is my first Epson product in many years. I basically picked it because of the sale price. The printing is fast and fairly quiet, quality is good. The wifi printing was easy to set up with Windows 8 and works well. Will be setting up as a network printer next. I expect that will be simple too. Copy functions work well, still working on making the scan function work the way I want it to.

The Epson WF-3540 is an excellent product. It prints very quickly, has two paper trays and the touch screen is easy to use. It can scan, copy, fax, print and its wireless. I have it linked to my cellphone and have printed documents and pictures from it. That was a feature I didn't expect. It is by far the best all in one printer I have ever purchased.
