I thought the Epson WF - 3540 was easy to set up with the "Start Here" instructions that came with the product. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I was up and running in about one hour. I have been using the WFR - 3540 for two days now with no problem. Today I set up the wireless connection for a second PC and again the instruction were very good and I am now printing from this second printer. I have been using a Epson Stylus Printer 785 EPX printer for just about 10 years with no problems so I am sold on Epson printers and hope my new WF - 3540 runs even more than ten years with no problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was easy setup, also was able to setup on my cellphone. No hard connections. I'm not techy love it.

I hooked it up to my network and easily installed the drivers (when necessary) on 4 PCs and 1 iPad. Windows 7 & Windows XP. I can print and scan over the network from any computer. (I have a WorkForce 630 for FAXing).
And, they both use the same ink cartridges!

Great Value.
Up and running wirelessly with drivers installed on Windows 7 and Mac machiine in around an hour.
Warm-up and print speed excellent.
Scan to my PC worked first time.
Paper loading easy.
Print quality as good as anything I've used and better than most.
Build quality looks and feels good.
Looking forward to trying the fancy Cloud Print and being able to print from our Mobile devices.

replacement printer

We had an Epson WF 610 for the past few years when for some reason it wouldn't recognize the ink when we went to change it. We liked that machine & after some research decided to replace it with the Epson WF 3540.Many of the features are the same such as changing ink. I was able to set my 610 up as wireless just using the disc, but no such luck with the 3540. it took the better part of a day to set up 2 laptops to wireless using Tec support. It's performing fine now using all 4 features, but I would never been able to figure out how to do it the way Tec support finally got the problem solved. I do think manufacturers are using too much cheap plastic. I broke the 2nd paper feeder just trying to unpack it from the blue tape. Fortunately I'd probably never use it anyway. I like the Epson products & hope this one outlasts my last one's several years of service.
