It's slower than I expected it to be compared to the other Epson printer (840) I've purchased in the past.

No problems at all so far :)

I sort of expected to have problems installing this printer from reading some of the other reviews but it went along as easy as pie for me. I use Windows 7 Professional 64 bit so I don't know if that made a difference or not. I used to have a very expensive wide format printer from another major brand but really had nothing but problems with it from the beginning with stalling, so called paper jams when no paper was in it, etc. For that reason I decided to downsize and get another printer - not to mention the price of ink was soooo much cheaper for the Epson. While the print out for graphics is not quite as good as the other printer they are very acceptable for my needs... and I'm pretty picky about what I send out. While I really didn't need all of the things the WF Epson came with they do work and that's all that matters. I'm a very happy camper. Thank you so much! Oh, and if this printer didn't have borderless printing and a rear feed paper tray I wouldn't have purchased it at all. I hope Epson reads these comments because it's getting more difficult to find printers that have these options. DD

Epson Workforce WF-3540

I purchased the WF-3540 as a replacement for my Epson Stylus CX7800, and I have been very satisfied. The setup was simple, the printing is fast and clear (and the double-sided saves paper!), and wireless printing is simple. Scanning is excellent as well. The one feature I will miss is the ability to scan slides and negatives, but given the increased function and speed, I will find another alternative for my photographs, as the WF-3540 rich features make up for that one function.

So Far So Good!

I just purchased this yesterday, but I have been impressed so far. I am replacing an Epson Work Force 545 that never performed as I had hoped, so after 4 months of unsatisfactory performance, I decided to cut my losses and just replace it. [The 545 is no longer manufactured.]
I address lots of envelopes [different sizes] so it is important for me that they come out of the printer clean and ready to mail. I completed my first project today and the envelopes were perfect once I determined and corrected a few glitches regarding margins.
It also handled an 80# cover stock well - another plus!
One thing I found a little annoying was setting up my wifi. When entering my passcode numbers, it was necessary to push each number multiple times since it first reads as a letter then finally a number. It is like a phone dial. It would be nice if you could "number lock" when entering all numeric information. I have not faxed anything yet, so I hope I do not have to go through the same tedious procedure to enter a telephone number.
I also tried using the rear document feeder and each time received a message not to use it. Have not figured that out. It must be there for a reason, but I am not sure what it is yet.
If the 3540 continues to perform as it did today, then I will continue to be happy with my purchase!

Nice looking, well appointed machine, wish it could accept XD cards as my previous Epson Workforce 610 did - easy to unpack, install and get working.

It was a breeze to setup and install in no time. Very high quality! The large touchscreen is simple to use easy to find the little details, too! Fast Prints, On network scanning. It's great! I bought this to replace my old Workforce 633. You will not be disappointed!
