Interesting...

I purchased this model, a few weeks ago...and have enjoyed it. I am active within community activities and always have a reason to duplicate or create information. Only interesting point, model has two trays that hold paper. Each tray pulls out when filling with paper. However, trays are thin plastic..., feel fragile.., and might break when pulling them, out. I can work around this..., and not a major concern. Overall..., this printer will work for me.

I have had HP printers in the past, never again!! The Epson blows the HP's away with reliability and performance.

Having used it for three days, I am happy with unit. I only wish the print cartage were the same as the WF-2540. I just hope this printer last longer the WF-2540. I do appreciate the duplex feature.

I have a WF-2640, and a WF-2660. One is at home, and one at the office. You cannot scan from them both. They both print fine, but each time I change from one scanner to the other, I must reinstall the drivers and firmware for the one I am switching to. I have confirmed this bug with Epson support. Their testing procedure must be pretty limited, to let such a bug get through.

Worked great... Until it didn't

I really liked my Epson printer. It was fast, efficient and had all the bells and whistles. However, after using it maybe for 10-15 print jobs I unplugged it to plug in another device. When I went to plug it back in nothing at all happened, it was dead. I tried another outlet and checked all the cords and still nothing. Of course this happened after the warranty expired. Now I have a lifeless printer. This was my first Epson and I am disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
