Lots of problems

First off, when it prints the work it fine. The problem is getting it to print. The Wifi worked for the first few weeks. Then stopped. So I hooked up a network cable to it. The problem now is that every time you want to print you have to remove the printer and re-add it because it does nothing otherwise. The print jobs just sit in the queue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgrading my Epson Printer

Today, 02/26/2013 I have just purchased my Brand New and Beautiful EPSON Workforce WF-3540. Setup was so easy, I just followed the Start Here documentation and now I have Print, Copy Fax and Scan also with Wireless capabilities. Thanks Epson for making this so easy for me. If I can do this anybody can do it. Just follow the instructions provided and you too will be smiling like me. For years I owned the Epson Stylus 6400 All-In-One, I never had any problems what so ever. My baby just got Old and no more drivers for her. Epson,,, you are the best in my opinon. Thanks again.

Copying - over 2 min per page! Ridiculous

Printing works great, as well as pictures, but why is this 'worlds fastest printer' taking over 2 min to make a black & white copy?? Very frustrated!!

Hassle to Print Photos

First day of owning machine, I tried to print an 8.5x11 photo on premium glossy photo paper. Photo paper can only be fed through the rear paper feeder, not through either of the two paper trays. It took over half an hour to feed one sheet of photo paper through that rear paper feeder. Unbelievable!

Larger foot print than advertised

If you are looking for a "Smaller footprint "as advertised by EPSON,this is not the unit you want. It is larger than my old WF 645.

Compatability issue with Microsoft office suite

Went I load the printer drive, Excel and Word will not run. I have to un-install the driver in order to run Excel or Office. Windows and Epson say the drivers are up to date.

WF-3540 Good Experience

I am just now installing the WF-3540 onto my network using my iMAC with OS Mountain Lion. So far all has worked seamlessly. You will need to install some of the applications that come on the disk to gain full functionality but the process of installing each element has completed without any difficulty. I will be testing out my old Gateway XP laptop next so more to follow.
