Having a lot of trouble getting printer working on my lap top. This is not as easy as my last non epson printer. You should have better directions and set up for different pcs'.

Almost perfect turned perfect...

After trying others - for what reason I can't recall - I went back to Epson and am very happy I did. My fancy-shmancy "other brand" cost more and DID LESS. I couldn't choose the DPI when I scanned for one. And it took forever to print. THIS one is FAST. I had a little problem before I downloaded the new Windows 8 drivers but now...PERFECT.

Hate it

Had an Epson 4500 series and switched to a 3540 . Hate it so much I switched back to the 4500. 3500 rear slot can only handle 1 sheet of paper at a time. The touch screen did not appear as easy to use as the buttons on the 4500. It was not worth saving a few dollars by changing models

Only problem is with repeated failure to update firmware using Epson Software Updater. All other functions work fine on a wireless connection.

The printer worked well, at first, but after an update from microsoft, the scanner ceased to work. I'll probably get it working again, but it's a real hassle.

Quick, paper storage useful

A major problem with a previous printer was loading paper and ensuring that it would feed. Bringing paper out for each use of the machine, estimating how much to load, and returning unused paper was a nuisance, and getting the machine to accept sheets were problems.
The WorkForce's paper trays provide ample safe storage for paper (which after all is something you don't want to waste).
I've had good results with two-sided printing.

Buy if want to be a Reinstall Master

Printing is very good when you get it to work. I have two PCs using this printer and, almost without exception, I have to reinstall the software every time to get this printer to work. The printer constantly goes off-line and nothing brings it back on-line except reinstalling the printer from scratch. Then when I do, this printer is a heavy drinker and ink is its downfall. We use this printer for home stuff - coupons, short articles, etc. We seem to be buying ink cartridges all the time.
