Epson WF-3540 Printer

So far we enjoy our Epson printer very much. The availability of 2 paper cassettes, the wireless capability and the E-Mail print are our favorite features. The print speed and quality are truly amazing.

Great for home office

Easy to set up. I love the ability to choose to print on both sides. It keeps the amount of paper that I must keep down to a minimum and reduces the amount of paper that I have to purchase. Print quality is good. Easy to scan to my computer so that I can send documents to customers when needed.

Would Buy From No Other Manufacturer

Have worked in several very busy executive level offices for many years and have had numerous brands of printers in impact, inkjet, bubblejet, colorjets and laser formats, and as far as the ink varieties go I would never buy another brand. As far as the individual series of the Epson inkjets I think the Workforce has been my all time favorite as far as overall quality and cost per feature. I really do enjoy this all-around office machine. The only problem I have had with it is my own fault. When cleaning the interior once after it unfortunately was involved in a home office mishap, I broke the long plastic ribbon upon which the inkhead runs. Because of this and the lack of service centers in a driveable distance, I lost the use of the entire machine. The scanner would not work even though it actually had nothing to do with the print head, nor would the fax. I do not understand the interior design elements of this machine enough to know why when one area needs assistance the others go offline too. But hat was my fault and since I could find no help in getting it fixed, I bought another. And I'm much more careful with it you can bet.

Solid Printer

I use the WF -3540 when I'm working at home and the family uses it as the home printer. Like any small printer, it can consume a lot of ink if your not careful. We've never had a problem printing work or homework documents. The scanning is very useful and I recently used the fax feature. We have it networked on our home WiFi and it was relatively easy to set up.
Best used for small jobs and quality scanning.

Nice Machine

I upgraded to this printer to have a device that does AirPrint to use with my iPad and iPhones. It works very well. Easy to set up and connect to my home network. Mostly automatic. Only issue has been since I upgraded to Windows 10. The scan program will no longer open. I have reloaded it twice and it still does not function properly. I think it has been covered up by a Microsoft system scan function. I can still scan to my PC but have lost the front end scan controls.

I have used this printer for a few years... Great printer. Have had no problems with it and ink cartridges last a lot longer than other printers i have owned
