First off, I can count on one hand the number of product reviews that I've ever done... I know, as a consumer, I rely on reviews when making purchases, and should be more involved and "pay it forward"!
This All-in-one powerhouse does the job, and does it well! In the past, I've wasted away money buying printers that were only slightly more expensive then just buying new ink cartridges (I call them disposable printers). So I did a little research, decided to spend a little more money, and this WF-3540 kept topping my lists... I still worried on wether or not I spent "enough" on a decent machine.. After unpacking it, and putting it to work for me, I was very pleased with it's performance, user friendly system (BOTH on my MAC & PC), and just everything about it! That was 5 months ago.. I just unpacked my second WF-3540, put it to the test, registered it, and now am typing this review... Don't get stuck in the triangle scheme of "disposable printers"! Thanks Epson, for designing such a great unit, at a great price point! You've made a long-time customer out of me!!

BEST PRINTER I HAVE EVER OWNED!!!!!

First of all, the printer/scanner was the cheapest I have ever purchased, and it even included 2 large paper trays. The printer works perfectly! I had it printing less than five minutes after I plunged it in. And it has a wireless connection, so no messy wires.
It prints all the way to the edge of the paper on both sides, very impressive.
This printer exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!!

I felt the set up on this printer was very easy the set up disk walked you through steps and the first print out we did was what you would expect from Epson a clean sharp print of the document.

THIS IS MY 2ND WF 3540....NOT BECAUSE THE LAST ONE FAILED, BUT, BECAUSE I NEEDED A SECOND ONE FOR MY VACATION HOME. I BOUGHT THE FIRST ONE THREE YEAS AGO AND HAVE LOVED IT EVER SINCE..NO PROBLEMS AT ALL AND MY WIFE USES IT WITH HEAVY CARD STOCK FOR PRINTING GREETING CARDS....

Fast/Easy Install

This has to be the fastest and easiest install of any electronics I have ever owned.
I have not used other than to run a few test prints. The print and color is very clear AND it does not smudge. Also prints fast.
So far I am very happy!!!

easy set-up

I just set-up our new epson WF-3540 and it was much easier than anticipated, even setting up the wi-fi option without a USB cable. The print on the test pages is clear and crisp - way better than the printer this machine is replacing. I am very pleased with how simple the process was and I think I'll be very satisfied with the quality of the printing. I would recommend this printer to family & friends.
