I purchased this printer based on reviews and found it to be very easy to setup with one exception. The setup instructions for the enclosed CD needed some clarification which was provided by customer support and solved the problem. It is a very sturdy machine with many nice features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

SMOOTH AND FAST SETUP. EVERYTING WENT VERY SMOOTH NO ISSUES. TEST PRINT LOOKS VERY CLEAR AND BETTER THAN MY OTHER PRINTER.

I just purchased it today after using the low end Kodak for 3 year. Super easy set up...and so far I have only printed in black and color but I love it!! Much quieter than my old one...Hopefully long term it keeps the good work up :)

make sure you have all required items for set up. I did not relize that I neede a USB cable for the set up and one was not supplied. Nothing on the outside of box indicated a USB cable was reruired. I had to make a round trip of 60 miles for the cable.

This is a great printer! It will scan multiple pages one sided or 2. It will print one side or 2. It is fast. Set up is easy, just be slow when doing the setup on the network and it wants to update the printer system. You have to turn it off and on. Then count to 20 before you start the update and it will work perfectly! Great price, great printer, can't go wrong!

easy install for usb connection. Haven't do wireless yet. Test print was excellent. Bright colors and sharp blacks. Only draw back..takes a large space and is a little heavy.

great printer, easy set-up

I did a ton of research before i bought this printer, and it had all the features i wanted.
Set-up was easy - i was done in about 5 mins! I took the advice of other reviewers and didn't use the enclosed CD, but downloaded the printer drivers on the epson.com website. Found my wireless signal and set-up went without any issues.
Printing is super fast! and i like that you can select the quality of the print job, so you don't have to waste ink if you don't need a super fine print (like printing recipes instead of photos).
This is my 3rd Epson printer in the past 15+ years and i am very happy with this product. LOVE the wireless feature because i like to do my work in the livingroom, and now i can hit print from wherever i am not not have to lug my printer across the house to my office to hook it up to the old printer.
I also really like the extended life black toner cartridge, since i mainly print in black and that is a big time/money saver!
I would recommend this to a friend!
