This may be too soon to send a review as I have only had the printer a couple of days. So far, I love it. It was easy for me to set up the wireless connections (and I am network challenged). The directions were clear and I took advantage of the Epson online help videos ( more explicit than the quickie set up paper) to be sure I didn't mess up. I had an old USB cable which made (wireless) installation a bit easier, but it is NOT essential to have one to set up the printer for a wireless connection. (This is not mentioned when you first buy the printer! In fact, you are advised to buy that cable.) The output so far has been gorgeous! I have tried a number of paper types (but all standard sizes) and all output has been better than I'd expected. I did not need or want- but most scanner/printers seem to have the fax function included as did this, so as I so rarely need it, I have not set that up. The scanner / copier is great. Controls are easy to use and the copy SPEED is great. Again, the print quality is excellent.
I have not tried anything needing OCR and haven't looked to find it although something I read in the documentation said it is available. I hope so. ( The printer's PDF manual is fairly thorough.) The actual printer controls (in the computer software) are also easy to use and the format is pretty standard so I've been able to control my printing choices with no problems. I have read reviews that complain about the noise but it does not seem excessive or annoying to me. I have yet to use the multiple sheet paper feeder, the rear paper loader, double sided printing, or the special photo sized paper adjustments so am trusting they will work properly. As I prefer to print all photos/graphics from my computer rather than directly from cards or USB flash drives, I probably won't bother with those options/slots. I had hoped to be able to print business cards with this printer (my other printers have been basic home- lighter weight models) , but it seems that although this is supposedly a small business printer, it only lists lighter weight papers (approx 50 lbs or less) in the specs I could find -AFTER I'd purchased it, of course, not online in enough detail for my needs. I have no wish to push the paper weight limits, but wish I could find better info from Epson (who doesn't seem to recognize blank card papers) and many brands of those in stores are not labelled with that 9weight) info. Sigh. This drawback is a problem with Epson's labelling/information and not a flaw in the actual printer. ( I gave the printer itself a high rating- I would give Epson a slightly lower one for this reason.)
The ink seems to be lasting fairly well so far. I'm using the standard cartridges that came with the printer and despite my "new owner" flurry of printing, the icons tell me I still have plenty of ink remaining- thank goodness!
All in all, I am highly pleased with this printer and look forward to many years of good use.

I actually will use this equally for business and personal work. That option was not available in the "Use" options in this form.

Love the printer for letters - it's fast and easy to use. Just wish I could figure out how to print envelopes, regular business size.

Great home office printer

This is a great home or small business printer. The setup was easy on both my direct, wired and wireless network. The print quality for both pictures and text is fantastic.

It seems to work pretty good, but set up wasn't exactly smooth. It's a bit slow to warm up. Prints are reasonably crisp, color is pretty good for an inexpensive printer. Scanner works ok.
Overall, a pretty good value for the money if the ink wasn't so expensive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like the all in one printer. There are some technical issues I haven't quite resolved though. It disconnects from the network often. Its quite irritating and inconvenient. The quality isn't what I had expected also. But hey sometimes it does work then its a surprise."

Outstanding piece of equipment, tough I'm not using it as much as I thought I would. I do, however, use it for printing payment confirmations and receipts for when I pay my bills and online purchases, just so I'll have an immediate record on hand. The colors are crisp, no bleed over, makes me wanna kiss it. The fax works great, I tested the day after I received it. Kudos to Epson.
