Excellent user friendly all-in-one printer compatible with most current operating systems. Out of the box to complete computer installation via 'included' software took about 90 minutes. After inserting the software disc into your CD/DVD drive don't get in a hurry and wait for the prompt screens that take you through the installation processes. You will need an Ethernet to USB cable or standard double USB cable for computer hook up (not a shocker) if using hard cable connections. The 'included' Quick Guide and Start Here booklet/flyer were most helpful, very straight forward, with lots of very good pictures and graphics. Printer cartridge installation with the included printer cartridges was literally 'a snap'. This is not my first rodeo for printers. Over the years I've owned 6 or 8 printers from various manufactures but this EPSON WF-3540 printer has exceeded my expectation for quality and user friendliness. The one year warranty is respectable coverage but after my initial experience with this product and previously reading the various internet reviews I don't think this warranty will be need.

Close but no cigar.

I purchased this printer because of its capabilities and looked forward to being able to put an odd sized paper in the second cassette and being able to leave it in there for a frequent job I do. But they built it so that anything other than letter size and a4 have to go in cassette one. The problem with this is that cassette one is the default cassette and there is no setting to make cassette two the default.
So basically for all intents and purposes there is only one usable cassette for your jobs and your stuck with loading and unloading non standard paper in it. I really do not see any advantage to this machine unless all you do is letter size paper. I was very disappointed as I see no reason to set it up this way.

Great but troubleshoot with Epson online

Print quality, options, automatic double-sided printing, 2 cassettes for 2 paper sources are all fabulous! Truly! The "BUT" is that the scanner wouldn't work with my laptop. I wasted 2 hours uninstalling, reinstalling, searching the web for answers until I finally went to the Epson site for a fix. It worked and now I have the exact product I had hoped for. I highly recommend it. Just don't waste time attempting fixes. Start at the Epson website! :)

Features: Wireless, Air print, double sided, autofeed, 2 good size paper trays, the print (ink colors) are clean, vivid, crisp, the printer display-easy to scroll thru for options. The only issue I had was in the set up of "Scan" desktop icon; running Windows 7. I believe the "abby fine reader software" (required for install) causes communication w/printer issues, but I finally got it working. It also interfered w/opening MS Excel/Word. Once I disabled it as an "add-in" in Excel/Word, they opened fine. Now this printer is great. The best I've had.

I purchased this all-in-one machine to replace a similar type I owned for about nine years (finally gave out). I read the wonderful reviews on this product and they were spot on! Great print quality, very fast without sacrificing quality, wifi set up was a breeze! I also like the display and it was very easy to set up (took me about 20 minutes to install and begin using). Great scanning capabilities, can scan to multiple formats. I use it for business and personal use. Overall, I am very satisfied with this all-in-one machine and highly recommend it!

Great Home Printer

I work from home. For the first time I have a printer that prints on both sides of the paper. I think it is fabulous! And, the printer is great. So glad I purchased it.

My perfectly good Canon printer was incompatible with my new MAC laptop so was forced to buy a new printer. Tried an HP first which crashed upon installation. Took it back and got this Epson, which I installed in less than a half an hour. Print quality is terrific and touch screen is intuitive. The instructions were complete and clearly written by an English speaker. I am very pleased.
