EPSON Work Force WF-3540

Replaced my Epson CW9400Fax which gave me good service for around 5 yrs...and ink pad got saturated.
The Epson WF-3540 has many more features, and more quiet in operation. Also like having the paper trays very much; because the paper stays flat and protected...and have upper tray devoted to legal-size paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Haven't got the Wi-Fi to connect after 3 hours of trying. Also noticed that I don't have the option to scan to pdf file which the book indicates should be. I'll update after I get everything working or take it back to the store. Anyway, not happy yet but will keep trying.

Printer set up was fairly easy. The Finnereader isn't clearly listed as software for the scanner so don't forget to check that box during initial setup. The email offers aren't necessary. The wireless connection was easy to enter. I like the touch screen options. Everything is easy to find and navigate through. Loading the ink cartridges and paper tray were easy as well. I JUST got this printer and I love it already. I got it for printing heat transfers for my t shirt business. this is great!

Always loved Epson printers and had them for years - replaced an nx515 and then used to have a huge stylus that was great. All kinds of problems installing a 3540 - workforce - it took my wife and I several hours and calls to product support to get it working on her computer - something about windows 7 1068 imaging twain error - that is too much for me to handle. here's hoping it gets better.

I am enjoying my printer. I continue to learn something new about the printer. I only wish the ink was not so expensive.

After 1 month of using the 3540 I find it is quick, prints well, uses black inc fast, and is impossible to recieve a fax if you are on the phone. An old feature apparently with the advent of DSL epson no longer includes. Compact, good rear feader for envelopes and two trays with the ability to use one, both, or either if the other is out of paper.
