Purchase the unit and brought it home to install. It took about one and a half hours to complete. It prints and the installation was easy but time consuming. I do not rate it a five because I have not had the time to really put it through its paces.

True "Work Horse" with Great Speed and Colors!

I just bought my Epson WF-3540 All-in-One printer two days ago and have already given it a "workout" using it for my small business! So far it has truly stood up to the claims of it being durable and fast, and provides vibrant colors of the many photos I've printed for brochures, etc. Most impressive has been the speed of the wireless connection! which is a major problem I had with my previous "All-in-One" printer from a different brand! *The only point of initial inconvenience I had (took ~40mins to set up system) for which there is a very quick solution is the matter about using the USB cable for temporary connection between your PC and the printer!...SAVE YOURSELF the TROUBLE/TIME and MONEY and connect to the printer via a wireless connection, instead (e.g., using the password, etc. from your wireless modem)! And since I was able to resolve the matter with my 4th attempt, I won't score it low. So far I'm very satisfied!

So far I've had no problems with this printer. The only drawback I can see is that I have to keep changing the paper in tray one between my 4x6 photo paper and the 8.5 x 11 paper. The printer this replaced had a dedicated drawer for the 4 x 6 paper and it knew where to go without my having to remember did I or did I not change the paper. I was very pleased with the ability of this printer to set up with my wifi and mobile printing. I have and will continue telling people that this a great printer.

Tempermental password

As I breezed along in the setup, I reached the point of typing in the password. NOTE: It took me 6 attempts to realize that the printer is CASE SENSITIVE!!! You must type in your network password just as it is. Once it accepted the password, it works like a charm!

Improve Instructions for Aged brains (me)

I have successfully connected the device following the printed and onscreen instructions. My only gripe was not assuming that I knew how to remove the lower paper tray as opposed to partially sliding it out. I got to the part that says to spread the paper guides by squeezing the guide and sliding it over. At the first stop point in sliding it out, the squeeze tab is not visible - it is still inside the machine. By squeezing a little too hard it moved but also one of the two springs jumped out of position onto the top of the table. I found the tab by sneaking my finger up into the printer paper tray holder and pressing. I then discovered that by slightly lifting the outer end of the tray that it came out completely thus exposing the squeeze tab. End result - some help from a tweezer and a smaller hand, the spring is back in place and all is well. I have printed only the test page at this time -- it looks very good. Wireless connectivity was easily accomplished by using an onhand USB cable as advised. Happy at this time........
