easy setup

I had read the reviews and had some concerns about the set up of the Epson WF3540. Many of them said the set up was slow and difficult with problems when it was completed. It took me less than 45 min from the time I cut the tape on the printer box to the time I had it up and running. I did have trouble figuring out how to print from my smart phone but when I went online I discovered there was an app to download for free. From there I printed within 5 min including the download time. So far it works great and is printing great documents including two sided.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NEW PRINTER

This will be my second Epson printer and if it performs as well as my previous one I, will be very satisfied. This printer set up was so easy it almost did the process with out my help. I look forward to many years of service from my WF-3540

Not so great printing

When printing for the first time . The printing has a missed spot every inch like it stops or quits printing a fine line after every inch ... which runs from top of page to bottom , any ideas would be great .Thanks

WF-3540 Installation/Set-up

I just purchased and set up the WF-3540 and was very happy with the ease of installation. I connected it to my wireless network and the only problem there was finding and remembering my Network Password - that was the only problem. I have not used the printer yet but if it works as well as my Epson Workforce 845 that I'm replacing it with, I will be pleased.

Performance

There are features I like, but the software is not up to date with the Apple Mountain Lion. Takes too long to scan and then I have problems with scanning and have to restart and and re-install software per instructions giving by Epson. Need to up grade the drivers via the internet.

I bought this mostly to send paperwork and forms in for insurance reimbursement. Some what expensive to run per copy. But I will almost never use it to print. Took a while to install software. Everything went very smoothly.
Some what noisy compare to my laser printer. Everything seems to work so far.
