Printer's nice but beware if you have Office 2013

The printer is very capable and has many features we have not had in previous Epson printers we have owned. The only problem is the Abbyy fineeader software is not compatible with MS Office 2013. As recommended, I loaded all the options on the installation disc. Everything went just fine. After restarting my PC, I could not open any Office programs. I did some research on the web and found others had this same issue related to finereader. After uninstalling finereader, all Office problems were resolved. Based on this, I could only rate it 4 stars because I will not be able to use all the software that came with the printer.

Have always used another big name brand however this WF-3540 blows them out of the water. Perfect size, perfect color balance, perfect flexibility with so many options and with perfect speed. Extremely satisfied and highly recommend this unit.

Great setup

Have not used all the features yet, but the setup was very do-able. Does not come with USB printer cord needed for non-wireless setup, so if you need that, pick it up before setup so you won't have to restart. The entire setup was simple and intuitive. Printer colors are excellent and sales person said this is what his friends are getting. A much better experience than other printers recently purchased based on online reviews only (without personal recommendations).

This is my second purchase of the Work Force printers. My first is still in use and works great. The 3540 is a later model with better features and nice looks. It's a business class printer for use in all aspects of work.

A good purchase

Less than 24 hours ago I purchased and installed a WF-3540. It was an easy install for my two computers over the wireless network. The copies are sharp and bright. And it's nice to be able to print from my phone.
