An awesome purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this grill about 5 times already. I smoked ribs, wings, steak, hot dogs and burgers. All have turned out fantastic, the smoker tube adds extra smoked flavor to anything being prepared. I’m not a great grilled, but with all the tools provided by Zgrills makes me feel like I could enter competition. I would recommend Zgrills to anybody 10/10

I've used the grill only a few times and I'm sure I'm on a learning curve but enjoying every minute as well as the food coming off it. With the coronavirus keeping me close to home the grill is more than just a welcome diversion.

Initial fire worked well. Since it was late in the day I decided to wait and cook bacon this morning.
Lined the drip tray with foil. Set the temp
to 350. Bacon was done in about 30 minutes.
Found the hot spots were on the edges of the drip tray.
Looking forward to cooking on the ZGrill.
Impressed with the simplicity.

Only issue was damaged durning shipping. Top lid, bottom cabinet are dented from taking falls during shipping. Not enough for me to call/complain, just cosmetic.

I'm hooked!

My nephew and I both enjoy cooking for family and friends. Problem is, he lives in Kansas City and I live in New Orleans. Not really a problem, we just can't get together as often as we would like and cook together.
Last year when we were visiting, he kept going on about how much I would enjoy a smoker. Well, back in the 90's my then-wife and I had one of those round dome brinkman charcoal smokers which was what I still envisioned. So, um... no. Well then he really introduced me into the world of pellet smokers and I had to get one.
I'm so glad I decided on this one. A Traeger really wasn't in our budget. I liked the articles I read about the Z-Grills and ordered this one. Assembly was easy, but time consuming. It would indeed go faster with two people. They include gloves so you won't cut yourself on any sharp edges.
At some point, early in the assembly, some part fell over on my left hand. Didn't really hurt that much, but when I took my glove off--to my horror--I had a hematoma half the size of a coconut on top of my hand ... no joke. I almost attached a photo but remembered the point of this review is to encourage you to write a review and not get ill. Anyway, I did finish the assembly and started smoking meat right away. I would say that I have easily gone through 60 pounds of pellets in the last month since getting this smoker.
It has all of the features of the competitors and the price is way lower. I love the cover too. Free, but not cheap!
