[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was a delay in shipping so I didn't receive my grill for several weeks. It finally arrived thankfully with no damage from shipping. Assembly was pretty straightforward and took a little over an hour. The only issue I had was that none of the components were numbered, so you need to pay attention when assembling. Did the initial burn off and boy did it stink! I noticed that some of the paint burned off the auger box near the flame pot. I guess this is normal when the grill gets up to 450 degrees. Found the grill to hold the set temperature to +/- 4 or 5 degrees. Nice! First cook went well and cleaning the grill is easy. Looking forward to doing some long, slow cooks.
I did have a minor shipping issue; which customer service fixed quickly. Outside of that I have been very pleased with the grill. Just as advertised and compared to some friends grills, by far a better value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading mixed reviews of the company and products, I kept my expectations in check. However, delivery time was better than expected, material quality was better than expected, and now that I've used it a few times, the performance it also better than expected. Very happy with my purchase.
We have only used the grill one time so far and the food was excellent. The one problem we had was we were cooking at 170 degree setting and the grill would not go to 170 and ran between 180 and 205. It was a little windy where it was sitting so we moved it out of the wind with little change but it was a hot and humid day and the instructions said that would effect the temps. Hope the next attempt will be better in line with temperature setting.
