Great Pellet Smoker / Grill

I absolutely enjoy cooking on this grill. I replaced my electric smoker with this and does a great job for low and slow, as well as some high heat searing and general grilling. Was able to get sear marks via a reverse smoke / sear on some chicken.
Only thing I wish could be changed in the software, is when pressing “prime” that you don’t have to hold the button and could automatically prime the full auger length and expedite getting pellets into the fire pot. I do this now by just holding the prime button on start up for 2 minutes. Works pretty well!

Great pellet grill. Relatively easy to assemble but even easier to use. Smoked a pork butt for pulled pork and baby backs so far. Very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It arrived on time. Ease of putting it together, I would give it a 9/10. The instructions leave a little to be desired, but if you really study the pictures you can figure it out. Now I have only used it once, but it worked very well. I replaced a Grilla Silverback and I have to say, the control panel on the Z grill is so much easier to use. From startup to shutdown it performed flawlessly. And it seemed to hold at the desired temperature much better than the old Grilla. Further use will I hope confirm this. Ask me again in 6 months.

I'm very satisfied with my new grill, now we eat like the BBQ restaurant. Still I'm learning how to use it but we love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box the unit is holding temps between 250-301 even when set on smoke. The company is sending me out a new temp probe. Still not a happy customer.

Too hot

I set grill on 180 degrees and the grill runs at 250 to 260 degrees. Even after 3hours it still runs hot. I turn it down to smoke and it still runs 250 to 260 degrees. I must be doing something wrong. Other than that I really like the grill. If I can get the grill to run at set temp I’ll be a happy camper.
