Great cut

I have 3/4 acre lot. It takes me about 3 hours to cut so I spread it out over a couple of days. The battery lasts about an hour. I did end up picking up a second battery so when one runs out I swap for the second and when it runs out the first battery is just about charged. Great mower.

Amazing mower!

I've used this mower now for the third time and I am still so in love with it! It's so easy and painless to use, no more gas or oil leaks to worry about...With the 80V battery, I am never left with a dead battery before completing the job at hand. The mower is also so much smarter than it's equivalent gas engine version. I say this as the motor senses resistance as a function of the grass thickness/density, so it will adjust power to the motor on the fly to accommodate the ever-changing landscape. No gas mower I ever owned could do this other than you yourself backing off on the throttle. This electric mower is all that I need and there is no going back for me.

It has the power to mow through deep thick grass and does a beautiful job. The battery recharges quickly, 35 minutes, and has enough amp hours to mow up to about an hour. I love this mower! Much better than my old gasoline powered mower.

80V 21” lawnmower

Bought this mower last fall. It came ‘tool only’ and I couldn’t afford the battery and charger at the time. Love to review it. My 60 volt was brilliant till I hit a hidden stump and toasted it. Would like to know if the 80V can run with one battery or the two it’s slotted for. I also feel a little ‘bait and switched’ with the tool only. Love all my other Greenworks tools and would like to stick with you.

Long runtime. Can't handle thick lawns.

Been using this mower for two seasons. Two issues stand out. 1) It does not handle thick, 3" or more height when cutting. Leaves clumps of grass even when the bag is empty. 2) When the bag is only halfway full, it's enough at that point to block the discharge shoot, and stop anymore clippings from entering the bag. I constantly have to empty the bag well before it is full! It seems the clippings don't get discharged at a high enough velocity to push them further back into the bag!
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe

Hello JMatt64
Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear about this experience! In most cases this means either of two things. Depending on the length of the grass and when the last time it was cut the bag may fill up quickly. Another reason, why the grass not flowing into my bagger properly could be the collection bag is clogged. If the lining of your grass bag is clogged with old grass, you should clean it and once clean the air should flow through the grass bag more efficiently and improve the grass collection. Hope this suggestion helps! If you find that you are still experiencing issues, we would be more than happy to assist with further diagnosis.
