Crazy Power!!

Brought this lawnmower home a week ago. I don't have a large lawn, but I needed a lawnmower that my wife could start and use and I didn't want to have to string power cords or have to have her pulling a starting cord endlessly only to have the machine not start.
This past winter (2015/2016), I'd purchased the 80V Greenworks snowblower and was so impressed with it that getting the lawnmower became a no brainer. Plus I'd have an extra battery for both the snowblower. (My driveway is a bit too big for one charge cleaning of a heavy wet snowfall)
To my surprise, the lawnmower came with TWO batteries!! Bonus! Now I have three batteries to power both machines.
Next, the lawnmower was almost fully assembled. Just had to attach the handle, lift the machine out of the box, charge the battery and decide if I wanted to use the bagger, to mulch or to use the side discharge. (All necessary pieces to do any of the three are included).
I had my snowblower 80V battery fully charged so on to the lawn.
As stated, my lawn is small so I absolutely expected to get it cut on one charge.
To see what kind of power was available, I lowered the deck to the second lowest setting - which was a good 1.5" lower than my previous lawnmower was cutting. The lawn is extremely thick with a lot of thatch & when previously I'd tried the same with my Toro lawnmower - the thickness of the grass would stall the machine. The new Greenworks 80V mower slowed momentarily and then the motor seemed to almost gear down and powered and rev'd right back to the same RPM as if it were just sitting on the driveway spinning.
It threw the grass well into the bag & did not plug going into the bag. It filled the bag till it was jammed before leaving any cut grass on the lawn and even picked up old leaves etc that were laying on the cut grass.
When I emptied the bag - I was happy to see that the opening was large enough that the grass emptied into my recycle bin with no extra shaking or having to grab grass to get it out of the bag. There are convenient handles at the top and back of the bag so it's easy to empty. Also, it hooked easily onto the lawnmower when I replaced the empty bag.
When I put the lawnmower away in the garage, I twisted the two locking tabs on the base of the handle to release the handle from it's push position (of which there are three or four adjustments for different sizes of operators). The handle swung up over the motor and down in front. I then removed the grass catcher bag, lifted the front of the lawnmower up to vertical and the lawmower is stored in a much smaller footprint.

Couldn't be happier and if it continues to perform like my other Greenworks lithium tools - I have to think I'll have it for LOT of years.

Just received as a gift from my wife and mowed my lawn. It worked as good or better than I expected. Easy to operate and powerful. Nice even cut and stayed at near full charge after around 20 min. to mow my yard. So far very happy with it. I rated durability as good because I only used once so far and seems well made.

Better than a 4.5 HP Gas Powered Push Mower

I brought this lawn mower about a month ago at the end of July. I have only used it three times because we have had a lot of rain and have not been able to mow the lawn on a regular schedule. Needless to say the lawn has been higher than normal. My grass is a Centipede/St Augustine mix which gets really thick with excessive rain. This 80 Volt lawn mower cut my front, back, and both sides of my yard on a single charge with a 4 AH battery. I was able to cut the lawn much quicker than my old gas powered lawn mower. I love the height adjustable handles and the light weight. I would not hesitate to purchase this mower again.
I love being able to mow my lawn earlier in the morning (7 AM) as it is very quiet and doesn't disturb the neighbors.

This product is amazing. It does such a great job at cutting the lawn with little to no effort. The product is extremely easy to clean, and it makes you want to go out and cut the grass, rather than keep procrastinating. I love this product so much that I bought 2 other ones for family members. I love this lawn mower. My neighbor has one and after talking to him I decided to get one also. I really like how light it is, it cuts the lawn just as well as my old gas lawn mower. I love not having to deal with gas every week! I am able to do my entire yard and still have some charge left in the battery when I'm finished. I would recommend this mower to anyone looking for a new lawn mower.
