Pretty unbelievably good. I was shocked how good this mower actually works. I have a rough piece of property that is an acre - but only about half of that is cuttable. But it is high weeds, and thick brush. I was able to raise and lower the cutting blade to handle everything and not run out of juice. The mower is heavy - there is no doubt about that - and going up a steep incline was effortful, but having the battery last was worth the effort. And then taking the HUGE battery and putting onto my GreenWorks Pro leaf blower backpack and cleaning up was just about the most awesome thing. I love both of these and highly recommend. Plus the cutting job was PERFECT.

Got the 80V 21" mower. Very easy assembly and great looking mower. Charged up the battery over an hour and then off and running. Only used it three times so far but got a good hour of runtime and manages to just cover my front, side aand back lawns. Much quieter and easier to use than my previous gas mowers - the benefits of less air and noise pollution are worth it I believe. It's a solid mower and should last a while but will report back. I went for the highest powered 80V version as I saw a lot of reviews where the lower voltage/ampage batteries had shorter run times, power and got quite hot - so far I'm pleased with the power and performance. One surpising thing I have found with the mower, and not mentioend in any reviews, is the fact that there is no wind vortex under the mower that I had with all my gas models. My gas mowers would have a strong wind effect from the rotating blade that sucked up any long straggling grass into the blade for a much tigher cut. This mower will leave the odd uncut long strands of grass that happen to be laying flat as you mow over. Critically the vortex would also enable me to suck up/dislodge any damp leaves or debris that settled into the lawn and often killed the grass. This was especially useful in Fall/Autumn with lots of leaves on the grass - looks like I will now need to go over the lawn with a rake or blower, which defeats the aim of being greener I guess. Not sure if this is the same for all electric mowers or just Greenworks but I think it's a big design flaw. I am sure Greenworks could design an alternative tilted cutting blade that provides the vortex - I assume this may not be the current design due to power efficiency for the battery - but I would take a reduced run time if this meant i could clear up the leaves/debris in one pass wtith the mower.

Bought this along with the trimmer. Easy to assemble and works great. Much more quiet than my old power mower. Will never go back to a gas mower again. Plenty of battery life. 1 charge more than enough to cut and trim my yard, though it isn't that big. Proably 45 minutes total. One thing I would change is the color of the bag. The mower is a sharp black/green color scheme and has a white bag. Looks sharp out of the box, but the bag should be either the green or black as the white stains from the grass clippings. Glad I bought it.

Better instructions on how to remove the battery. Great mower. Battery lasted an hour and a half. Cut my lawn twice before I had to charge it.

I really bought it for the battery to give my chain saw extra run time, I thought it was self propelled but it's not. However the light weight & large wheels make it reasonably easy for a 62 year old to push if you're smart & mow the most level direction rather than going around in circles. The biggest surprise was that it mulches better than it side discharges, especially surprising since I am not an enthusiastic mower & the grass get's very tall sometimes. I like that it's very light with the battery out & is east to flip over & clean thoroughly when finished - I just store it in a spare room between mows. I still wish I had self propelled but this one works well for what it is. As for the battery - it works in the chain saw but makes it quite heavy.
