High Quality Induction Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Induction technology is marvelous. Very quick heating. Able to maintain a low simmer with ease.
The convection oven works better than my previous range.
Really like the glass top over hanging the counter to prevent stuff from going down alongside the range

Excellent Induction Range

Would give this range 5 stars if they corrected the front facing oven controls. The buttons are very sensitive and frequently turn-on if you brush against them.

Very Happy with Induction Range

We would have given it 5 stars if it were not for one thing - when cooking on the stove it is very difficult to refrain from hitting the oven controls with your body and inadvertently turn on the oven.

Bosch 800 Induction Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we were in desperate need of a new stove/oven as ours was 20 yrs old and needed to be replaced .We were looking for a particular model with downdraft cabability but the cost of the same was nearly as much as a Bosch indution model so we decided to get the newwst technology as save some $$ along the way reducing our electric bill. So glad we bought our Bosch.

Only a Little disappointed

I understand that nothing is perfect but I was hoping that Bosh would come close. I own another Bosh appliance that I absolutely love and I guess I was expecting too much. This range has a few flaws in my opinion but not enough to hamper my joy of cooking. Was very impressed with the induction cook top and its ability to heat a pan fast and evenly. My disappointment was with the oven. The touch controls are too sensitive and the finish inside the oven is not smooth. There are places that it looks like the enamel finish dripped. I feel that their quality control level is lower than it should be for an appliance costing $$$. Would love to have been able to give it a 5 star rating.

Very happy with our purchase

We have not had any issues with the induction top as some reviews have reported. It handles moisture from dripping lids with no issues. The controls are intuitive and heats up fast! The oven cooks well and has lots of options. And it looks totally snazzy in our kitchen!

Induction pans not consistently detected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a full suite of 800 series Bosch appliances because of what I read about reliability and support. We immediately had an issue which is still not resolved with our drawer microwave and now am finding that multiple induction compatible pans are not working. We've used All Clad nonsticks, Oxo nonsticks, Green Pan nonsticks thinking the pan was the issue. However, all of them will intermittently connect turning the induction top on and off will no consistent heat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
