Great value

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been using the oven for two months now and I'm very happy. My previous oven concentrated on form over function. You could choose pretty designs for the display and the time would change for daylight savings (which I found a bit creepy).
The Bosch Benchmark has concentrated it's focus instead on the actual oven operation. It has a simple display and it's effective. My initial disappointment that I couldn't have an analogue clock display has become an appreciation for Bosch's design approach.
The oven works very well. It's insulated so that the interior is still quite warm a couple of hours after cooking is finished
The probe works nicely with the added benefit that it will save energy. The oven turns off before the internal temperature is reached and uses the residual heat of the oven will to continue cooking the food.
The air vents out quite noticeably between the door and the control panel, which I think is very smart. Hopefully this design, will direct heat and condensation away from the control panel. That is what killed my two previous ovens. I did a lot more research this time to make sure that I purchased an oven with a great reputation and good reviews.
I love the soft-closing door although it took me a while to get used to not pushing the door closed to prevent it from slamming 😊
The oven door has good space between the exterior and the interior glass keeping the surface cool during operation.
A minor point is that the alarm is not loud enough for me to hear when I'm upstairs but hey I have a phone and I use its timer as a backup reminder.
Each interior side has a light making it easier to see what's going on so I don't have to open the door. I also like the fact that the light stays on when the oven is off, reminding me that I have extra food still in the oven, keeping warm, should anyone want a little bit more. With the auto-off "feature" A previous oven I've thrown out a lot of food the next day.
In comparison to my previous ovens I really like the racks. They're very sturdy but are much lighter, which I appreciate because I always will remove a rack should I not need it. I do wish that the rolling pull-out rack is not limited to the bottom level. I rarely use the bottom of the oven and it would be nice to either use the rack in the middle or easily remove it.
My final compliment is that it looks great!

Best Christmas present!

The oven is fairly new, but I am loving using all the features. It is gorgeous and so easy to use. Everything has cooked beautifully! The only thing that caught me as guard was when the timer goes, the oven shuts itself off .. something to be aware of

Good quality but consumes a lot of energy

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The fast pre-heat function heats up a bit faster than the regular pre-heating, not significantly in my opinion, but it's better than nothing. It has panel lock feature, which is very useful when you have a toddler that likes to play with everything with buttons. Overall, very satisfied with this oven but it uses a lot of energy though.

Benchmark Convection Single Wall Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this oven for nearly a year and i can say this is simply a beautiful and well made oven. It functions beautifully and the control panel is user friendly and the touch controls are easy to operate.
I bake quite a bit, everything from cookies to muffins, cakes and yeast breads. Oh, lets not forget to mention PIZZA! This oven handles everything exeptionally well. Roasting is also a breeze. And it has an efficient 12-pass broiler element as well. So many great features on this oven, I could go on.... But I'm happy I did my research and chose this Bosch Benchmark, we have been very happy with it!
