Disappointed

I had a 13 yo Jenn-Air wall oven prior. The display panel was much brighter and easier to use. I really dislike that the oven is turned off when the timer goes off.
In addition, the oven blows the hot air directly into the room, which makes it very warm and HOT during warmer weather.

Very pleased, but vents hot air during use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this after our GE Monogram conked out and no replacement parts were available. This oven matches our Bosch built in Microwave. It has more features that we'll probably ever use, much less need.
The only negative is that the oven vents quite a bit of heat into the kitchen when in use. My wife even thought that that the oven might be defective, but I checked the instructions, which confirmed that the oven vents "warm" air when in use. I would characterize the temperature as being closer to "hot". I question the energy efficiency, especially considering that, living in Florida, all this hot air needs to be airconditioned. (We use our oven infrequntly, so this one drawback is not particularly important to us.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this oven, however, calibrating the temperature has been challenging, there is a bit of trial and error. The top control panel seems to be warm all the time, even when not in use. We quickly learned that the oven timer turns the oven off when the door is opened, so we now use the kitchen timer instead. Overall, I really like this oven, especially the telescopic rack, we still need to learn how use some of the functions, but I would recommend this oven to anyone.

Not designed to display the oven temperature???

This oven is great so far except for a critical feature which has been standard on every other oven I have ever used: The oven is not capable of displaying the actual current temperature inside of the oven. You set the oven to 400F, it shows you a unitless status bar and you have no idea what the actual temperature is.
Let's say you are preheating to 450F and then decide you want to change to 350F. It would be nice to know at that exact moment if you are below, at, or under 350F. This oven has WiFi for some reason but can't show me the temperature inside. The only way I would ever connect this product to WiFi is if they released a software update which displayed the temperature.
For now I'll be fixing this with a separate temperature probe mounted inside. It's fairly disappointing.

Timer

I am disappointed with the kitchen timer. It only allows for minutes and hours - no seconds. It does count down the seconds in the last minute but if you glance at it before the one minute mark you have no idea whether it is 2 minutes and 2 seconds or 2 minutes and 59 seconds. Guess I will have to use some other kitchen appliance for timing the pasta for another 90 seconds. Also you are not able to hear the alert unless you are nearby - even on the highest volume setting. The alert only sounds for 2 minutes after time has run out. Oven works well. Like the telescoping rack.

Overpriced and poor performance

The quality cooking performance you would expect at this price is not there. It cooks just like much cheaper ovens. It takes a very long time to preheat. The controls are cumbersome and unintuitive. The "Smart" features are a joke. They are almost impossible to use. The app is just as terrible. I was able to connect it to Alexa, however the oven was unable to perform even simple verbal instructions through Alexa like "preheat oven to 400 degrees". The only thing positive I can say is the clean, classic design looks good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
