Excellent shaver

For a black man I think this electric shaver is pretty good. Not as good as the old Remington ES 1000 which was the greatest electric shaver ever made for a blackman but however it is close enough! I like it so much I'm buying one for my son.

Needs a little work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for review . The razor is not ideal if you have course hair or a fuller beard. It pulls and it takes to long. It may be more ideal for someone with a shorter beard or more like 5 o'clock shadow. The accessories you receive are pictured.

I love how it's easy to grip the handle and I didn't have any trouble with it slipping and I didn't drop it at all.It kept a charge really well and lasted about 30 minutes when I was shaving my legs.I like the shape of the shaver and how nicely it fit in my hand and my husband even commented on how easy it was to hold as well.It was easy to clean and I loved how gentle it was on my skin. Sometimes when I use a shaver it irritates my skin and makes it a little red,but not this one! This has definitely become my favorite and I'm pretty sure this is gonna be my go to shaver for quite some time!

Built for Comfort not Super Closeness

I bought this shaver because I always liked the older slot-head Remington models, and wanted to own something similar. This slot-headed shaver (just like the older Remington models I owned years ago) is specifically designed not shave as closely as most foil shavers. Because it tilts more toward comfort than closeness, it is quite gentle on your face. I find that I get an adequate shave, without disturbing my skin. I don't use it daily, but I do use if I want to give my face a break. It's a nice shaver, but you need to understand its specific design and purpose - i.e., expect a comfortable, but not miraculously close, shave.
I am of European heritage, and I do not suffer from some of the shaving problems that are evidently common to men of African descent. I understand, however, that folliculitis is a common shaving complaint among that population, and this shaver deserves serious consideration as a possible solution to that problem. (Indeed, I believe that Remington, in years past, sold a very similar slot-headed razor under the model name, "Black Man's Shaver.") As I understand it, the nature of the cut - being ABOVE skin level - helps to avoid ingrown beard hairs that lead to folliculitis. Worth considering.
Anyway, I really like the shaver. I value it for what it does (and does well), and I am glad I own it. I recommend it for anyone looking for a shaver that is gentle on your face, and avoids ingrown hairs by not shaving "too close."

Best Razor I have ever used......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this shaver. It is the best I have ever used and I have been using electric razors since 1991. Been using Norelco all that time, but when I tried this razor, it gave me the closest smoothest shave I have experienced ever. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The reason I tried the Braun was that I have become increasingly dissatisfied with the Norelco brand. The shaves are not as close or as comfortable as the Braun. Also, in my opinion, Norelco has slipped greatly in quality and customer satisfaction concerns.

Waterproof is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is great. I use it in the shower because it’s waterproof. No razor burn and a nice close shave. It takes a little while to get used to it when changing from regular razor.
