Hopeful, but disappointed... poor door design ticked me off... exchanged it for a GE fridge...

Cold, quiet, efficient... but... why, oh why design doors that stop short of completely closing on their own?!?! These doors are purposely designed so the consumer must physically push the doors closed or risk leaving the refrigerator or freezer doors open, which l'm sure happens! That's a very bad design because refrigerator doors suppose to be closed 99.99% of the time. Why wouldn't Frigidaire design experts design doors that close easily, with zero resistance whatsoever? ?? Baffles me...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my 17.6 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer as a free replacement from PG & E's Home Energy Savings Assistance Program. It is a very simple refrigerator. Lighting inside is not very bright and the shelves are very deep and difficult to reach way in the back. I am still very thankful that PG & E replaced my 25 yr. old refrigerator. because I am on the CARE program.

Old Fridge Died with a Freezer full of Meat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially having no handles took some getting used to but now I actually love the sleek look. I miss not having a light in the freezer but the shelving has given me a lot more organized storage space. When I open the freezer door I don’t have to try to catch something sliding out. The refrigerator section gives me ample room to store all my condiments securely in the door plus my milk and juice. And the shelving in the main section is adjustable so that I can get everything in and out with ease. The day I had to get a refrigerator I searched reviews and knew that I wanted a Frigidaire. The fruit and vegetables drawers don’t slice in a tract. That is a little disappointing but as I said earlier I had to get a refrigerator immediately. That being said it is very solid design the pro’s definitely outweigh the cons!
