[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is very comfortable and was easy to set up once we got it into our apartment. It is however, very heavy when in the box. One will definitely need a dolly to move and get up stairs. Other than that, we are very happy with it.

An honest comparison

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because you value sincere input here it goes: we have been sleeping on an Amerisleep mattress for the past 4 years and loved it. We needed to replace our guest bedroom mattress and I heard that Casper was rated #1 so I decided to give it a try. I am a back sleeper with an aging gymnast’s back so wanted firm support. When I talked to your customer service rep he recommended the Casper hybrid. We set it up and laid down on it and I felt immediately that it was softer than my Amerisleep and when I sat on the edge it buckled in the middle somewhat. Even after 4 years of sleeping on it my other mattress never buckled in the middle. That being said my husband, a side sleeper finds it very comfortable. So my rating would be Amerisleep 5 stars, Casper 4 stars. The foundation which we also purchased from both companies was not as good as the Amerisleep one which had Velcro for secure attachment of the slats and fit securely but easily together. The Casper middle support had to be hammered in and looked to be a wee bit short of a perfect fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the mattress, but I feel the top is too soft. I thought about sending it back, but I probably won't. I do prefer more firmness, It was easy to open the box and put the mattress on the bed.
