How long have I had the mattress? About a week back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much softer than I expected for a mattress that is supposed to be great for the back and for slide sleepers (which I am). The first five days of having the mattress, I woke up with horrible back pain - particularly distressing since I don't have chronic back issues and am known for being able to sleep anywhere under any conditions (including in a dentist's chair and during an earthquake).I have yet to decide whether to return the mattress, but so far my back is advocating for a return.

We visited all of the mattress retailers in our vicinity before we went with Casper. Every one, EVERY ONE did the "used car salesman" hard sell. "This price is only good today.."I'll throw in free sheets and pillows." "I'll throw in an adjustable frame." "Our memory foam is better than their memory foam." Sheesh! I saw the Consumer Reports mattress reviews, and the one on Casper was very good. The price point was where I thought it should be. The entire order and delivery process was exactly what I was told to expect. We have slept on the mattress now for a month, and are pleased with the comfort. It is cool to sleep on. Neither of us is disturbed when the other one gets out of bed. We expect to continue to be pleased with our purchase.
