My wife and I are happy we purchased the Casper Hybrid King! It is supportive and it is a pleasure to fall asleep and wake up on this giant bed!
We let it air-out for a few days before using it - but I'm not sure that was even necessary. All in all a very satisfying buy. This mattress will soon serve time in our AirB&B in the master bedroom and we

Love my new Casper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some pretty serious back pain, and nothing I did helped. I finally broke down and decided to buy a new mattress. I looked and looked and read all the reviews until I became very confused. In the end I landed on the Casper Hybrid, and I am NOT disappointed! This is the best mattress I have ever had. My back pain is gone and I am getting the best sleep I’ve gotten in a long time. Thank you Casper!!!

It is a medium firm cozy mattress that would ideally suit all kinds of sleepers as it provides both comfort and support for all positions.

We bought an original Casper about 5 years ago and loved it from day one. Recently we moved and needed a real guest bed so we moved the original into the guest room and treated ourselves to a hybrid version.
My review is that this new mattress is significantly firmer than the original, which isn't a bad thing, but I have had some back pain after the switch. I think most of the pain is from getting older, and not from the mattress. Or it could be my body, like my mind, does not do well with change.
My wife on the other hand doesn't report noticing the difference and continues to love her Casper.

Excellent mattress - just too firm on my shoulders

This is really an amazing mattress. It took about 2 weeks to "break in" for me, but afterwards sleeping on my back, reading in bed, sleeping on my stomach was so comfortable. I just really loved it. My husband loved it too right from the start - no break in period for him. We were both surprised since traditionally he always said he liked really soft mattresses. However, for some reason, when I sleep on my side it really just kills my shoulders/collar bones - even after 4 weeks. No lumbar pain anymore though, and no soreness anywhere else (yay!), but just my shoulders. It doesn't hurt my husband though (we're both predominantly side sleepers). I feel horrible since in all other ways, from shoulders down, it's the perfect mattress. So if you weigh 160+ and sleep on your side, or predominantly sleep on your back/stomach - this is a fantastic mattress. But really give it 2-4 weeks to break in (it was so firm at first, and I know it's tempting to throw in the towel too early). Unfortunately, I have to return it to save my shoulders/collar bones. My husband is sad.

We've been sleeping on our mattress for about two weeks now and I'm on the fence. Not sure that it's as supportive or comfortable as our previous mattress--but with that said, we are still waiting on our bed frame to be delivered to actually get the mattress off the ground. Hoping it feels better when it's able to have more "give." Right now we are waking up with sore backs.
