Sensitive Individuals Advice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Review: The Casper hybrid mattress offers a great night's sleep...but it does have a smell once you open it up. My girlfriend and I get migraines and are smell sensitive (I know, that sucks, it's not Casper's fault we're broken and we chose a memory foam bed, virtually all of them smell to some degree), so when we slept on this without allowing it to air out the first night, we woke up feeling awful and actually had to call off work. We decided to open the window, leave the fan on, unmake the bed, close the door, and crash on our sofabed for a week. Fast forward and we're sleeping great now, only trace hints of the smell can be detected if you smoosh your face into the thing, but we are not doing that so are totally happy with our purchase.

If you're sensitive to chemicals, beware.

I would have given this mattress 5 stars when it first arrived, but after being gone a month, we came back to a lot of chemical smell, so much that I had to sleep with my face covered. It actually had my heart pounding. The bedding on the mattress even smelled, and my husband who never smells anything noticed.When remarking on this, I was told to take the cover off for a few days, wash it, jump up and down on the mattress to get it to let some of the chemicals out, and open the windows. Really??Other than that, it's cushy and I don't feel my husband roll over which is all good. And customer service does answer quickly and politely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely LOVE this mattress. As a couple, we have had multiple foam and standard mattresses with box springs in the past. This mattress is extremely comfortable. They hybrid is perfect level of firmness (no "bounciness", which is great) and does not overheat.
