Comfy, but a a plush would suit us better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original hybrid mattress is really comfy, although my wife and I realized it's a bit too firm. We're both slender and not always back sleepers. In hindsight it'd have been a good idea to get the plush version, but of course that would net us another $500 or so, which we didn't feel like we should spend. We're still thinking about it and maybe we'll take the leap. We definitely didn't regret getting to know the brand and we still have two months to decide whether to upgrade or not.

From spring to hybrid

I wasn't ready to go "full-foam", so I bought this twin-size hybrid Casper to replace my old one. From the very first night, it was more comfortable than my old mattress and I'm very happy with it.

The unboxing was somewhat of a challenge because of its weight, but my wife and I were able to get it into position just fine. The Casper is an improvement over our 25-year-old Select Comfort bed. My wife likes it very much. I notice less shoulder pain when I sleep on my left side, but my moderate lower back pain is still bothering me after six weeks. There is an improvement while laying on my back but I still experience back pain (and hip pointer) while on my side (preferred). The overall support is very good. We couldn't afford the top of the line Casper bed which claims it is better for back pain.
I would recommend this bed to most anyone, but just note that it is not a cure all if you are experiencing back pain while sleeping.

Great night sleep right away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Genuinely I was amazed by the comfort of this mattress on night 1. I have never purchased a bed in a box before. We tried several mattresses at a local furniture store and the Casper line was available there. While traditional innerspring mattresses were on our list, we were hoping for a hybrid for the support of the foam elements and the springs for some of that traditional feeling to which we are accustomed. The most exciting purchase in many years for us also in that we upgraded to a king sized bed which has been an amazingly positive addition to our daily routine. I was almost too excited the first night to sleep - but the second night slept more soundly and woke up more comfortable than I had in years. Went right into an AM interval strength training class and didn't have to work myself up for it at all! My husband would prefer a softer feel - we have the original hybrid and while softer versions are available we did not want to go too soft. He is a stomach sleeper so if you're worried about softness consider the other softer hybrids in your shopping! I as a side sleeper couldn't be more satisfied. We also purchased the foundation and it is a wonder in ease and innovation but it did arrive weeks after the mattress so my only feedback would be the delivery time on the foundation being a little sluggish.
